About Astrid

Coming from a creative writing background, I am captivated by art that tells stories. I want my work to make you want to touch it, laugh or cry with it, make your heart beat a little faster....I'm not cool enough to like art that eschews beauty. I like fluffy more than sleek, red wine more than white, and water more than mountains. I live in Chicago in the Pullman National Monument with my very hirsute cats and an enormous furry dog.
